Subject: Children's Letters to Harry Potter Wanted for
Book
I visited your wonderful web site and was wondering if
you would inform your visitors of a book project that I am doing that they may
be interested in.
We are looking for authentic children's letters
to Harry Potter for a book, "Letters to Harry Potter," by Bill Adler.
"Letters to Harry Potter" will be published by Carroll and Graf.
Would
your child like to write, or has your child already written, a letter to Harry
Potter? For instance, these can be fan letters, letters about Harry's
magic, about any of Harry's teachers, questions about Quidditch, ideas for
classes at Hogwarts, or new spells Harry might use.
Bill Adler is the
author of numerous collections of letters, including "Kids' Letters to President
Kennedy," "Kids' Letters to the Beatles," and "Letters from
Camp."
The letters can be written especially for this book. Please
note that all letters need to be written by children aged 5-15. Remember,
these are letters to Harry Potter, not J.K. Rowling.
This is an exciting
opportunity to have your child's thoughts about Harry Potter published. If
we use your letter, you will get a free copy of Letters to Harry
Potter. Because we expect a large number of submissions, the first
letters received have the best chance of being published. Please see our
web page for more information and sample letters at www.adlerbooks.com/potter. We also
have a flyer about the book that we would be happy to e-mail to
you.
Letters can be sent to me at:

help.
