Guess what Harry Potter fans. It's only a week until Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is released.
If you're like me, you have already reserved yourself a copy of the book. I am sure many of you are going to Harry Potter releasal parties. For those of you who are looking for a party here are some places to go.
Most local book stores are having releasal parties. I know for a fact that Borders is having releasal parties at 12:01 p.m. all over the US. If you reserve a copy with Borders you get 40% off the price of the book.

Daily Prophet Readers, as many of you know Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix will be released on Saturday June 21st, 2003 in the UK, US, Canada, and Australia. This book is the most anticipated book of the year. The book is one-third larger than Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. It will be over 255,000 words long. Goblet of Fire was only 191,000. Order of the Phoenix will be 38 chapters long. The UK edition of the book will be 768 pages long.

Here are two exerts from Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix:

“The hottest day of the summer so far was drawing to a close and a drowsy silence lay over the large, square houses of Privet Drive … The only person left outside was a teenage boy who was lying flat on his back in a flowerbed outside number four.”

Later on in the book is a conversation between Harry and Professor Dumbledore:

“Dumbledore lowered his hands and surveyed Harry through his half-moon glasses.

‘It is time,’ he said, ‘for me to tell you what I should have told you five years ago, Harry.

Please sit down. I am going to tell you everything.’”

I know that when I get a copy of this book at my local Borders (Muggle book store) the only thing that will stop me from reading this book is a fire. Remember readers only 51 more days to go.
